Kumamoto Castle
Most visitors go to the Kumamoto Castle first because it is obviously the most attractive place in Kumamoto. The Kumamoto Castle was built by Kiyomasa Kato, who was a lord of Kumamoto during the Edo Era, in 1607. It was burned during the Seinan War, but rebuilt. The castle is mainly famous for its stone wall which is a base of the castle, and the stone wall was called "Musyagaeshi".
